What day is it?
Blouse - Old Navy
Skirt - Gap
Shoes - Doll House via Ross
Earrings - Can't remember
Bangles - Target
My life consists of work and sleep, occasionally I get to eat and sometimes I get to kiss my husband but mostly just work! Leave it too me to start a blog and then get shipped off to an alternate universe where people work their lives away! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but this "transition" is insane! They have even assigned me an entire transition team and its still head whirling busy.
This was an everyday work outfit but I really like it...with a different shirt next time I think. My weight has not allowed me to tuck in my shirt like I prefer but whatever I can get to the weight loss gym business when things die down right? I LOVE this skirt and the shoes are one of my favs for sure. I recently found a self tanner that I really like also so that makes skirt wearing a hell of a lot easier. I m enjoying the cool down in weather although I know that the rest of the country is not enjoying a 90 degree Fall!
I have some pics saved up from the last week so now all I have to do is find the time to post!
Hello to my newest follower also!! Tried to look at your blog but didn't see one linked to you profile?

I went pottery painting in this. I think I might have mentioned this in my last post! I was worried about getting paint on it all day but I didn't!!! My Husband kept warning me that I would but I didn't!!! However I wore this shirt the very next day to work...what I didn't see anyone I saw the day before and I wore and undershirt! And guess what I did... I spilled food on it!! Go figure I guess.
I have had this skirt forever but never wear it, in fact I haven't even tried it on in years but I think I should wear it more often ...what do you think?

Michael Phelps
Skirt and Blouse - NY & Co.
Belt - Target
Shoes - Santana via Marshall's
Bracelet - Charlotte Russe
Earrings - can't remember but aren't they pretty...they make a jingling noise all day...hehe
I wore this outfit for the first day at my new job! I love the look but the damn belt won't stay in place for nothing. That's what I get for not wearing it the way you are supposed to! The girl at my new work (my immediate boss) is absolutely stunning and dresses perfect everyday. The kind of perfect that costs lots of money and requires fancy labels. Even though I can't dress that way its great inspiration!
The other new person in my life by way of my new career is Michael Phelps...he is the office Goldfish and I love him. He is terrified of me of course and doesn't much like when I come up to the glass (like every 5 seconds) but he is learning that I am not going to hurt him. I realized today that goldfish do not respond to the clicking noise that you make when you say are...calling a cat (I really don't know how to type that and trust me I have tried). Why my mouth still creates those noises every time I near his corner I will never know. I still do it just not around others.

Finally
Slacks - Target
Sparkle Top - Charlotte Russe
Bracelet and Earrings - NY & Co.
Shoes - Bertinni via Shoe Warehouse
I say finally for two reasons:
1. I am actually blogging
2. I am blogging from home with an Internet connection worthy of it.
I use to do most of my blogging on my lunch hour from work. I have recently started a new job and don't think that's going to be an option there and is definitely not going to be for some time? That means a huge shift of Internet time...bleh! I don't usually want anything to do with the computer by the time I get home. I have had a broadband connection from some time now and its was terrible. Today I got on to try and pay some bills and whew it was like pulling teeth, called the provider right then and there. Husband put all the equipment together and wham bam here I am! So much nicer!
Had a really nice and RELAXING weekend which was desperately needed! Went with some friends today and had lunch and went to this adorable little pottery place called As You Wish. I was looking forward to it but was truly surprised by how much I really enjoyed it. I like my mug but learned a lot in the process and will do much better the next time. My husband really enjoyed it too!! I will post some pics when I get it back.
Toodles!

Holy Kageezus! I have been crazy busy.! It is the kind of busy that really needs three people and 28 hour days. I started my new job while still working the other and this madness is going to continue through next week….eeeks! Hopefully after that things can wind down a bit? On top of all this I am still “trying” to quit smoking. I stress the trying part…haven’t bought any but Primetimes (those tiny nasty little cigars) have been a constant companion…disgusting!! This will be my first weekend in a LONG time with no company on the weekends and as much as I like company it is a much needed break.
This was the outfit that I wore for Sunday (yes its been that long) just tooled around town and did some grocery shopping. I loved this look, it was equal parts comfy and ultra feminine. I also got my hair cut this weekend…and got BANGS! They are very slight though so I don’t have to play them if I don’t wanna.
Alright back to the grind!

Black and Blue
Blouse - Byer New York
Cardigan - Merona
Slacks - Target
Flats - CL by Laundry
Necklace - Thrifted
Purse - Merona
This wasn’t my favorite outfit that’s for sure. It was one of those things that I had in my head and wanted it to work and at 7am it felt like it did but by the time it was picture time I wasn’t a fan anymore. Its not that is was terrible I just felt like it was boring. Sometimes work does that to me? I really like the blouse and think I wore it just so I could wear the shirt? See I pick all my outfits out on Sunday that way I don’t have to stress about it during the week. I hate waking up and not knowing what I am going to wear, especially on a work day! I would much rather sleep in.
Anyway I think I got much better shots today. My life is seriously hectic so I actually haven’t been able to go somewhere and take pics since my first post….pathetic. Either way I like today’s shots much better so hopefully I will get them up in the next day or so.

How is it that a bus hit me while I was asleep?
Dress - Eileen (in love with this new boutique)
Leggings - Ross
Pumps - Guess via Nordstrom Rack
Earrings - NY and Co.
Purse - Target
Belt - Target
Holy Moly am I sore. I hit the gym hard this week and woke up this morning and said oh shit! I had the bright idea yesterday that I would do squats every time I made a copy at work (I am seriously a total dork). In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have done that in 4" heels? Holy Batman my thighs hurt not to mention my abs and arms!! I must admit it feels good in a way....productive pain right! I have bulked up a bit this summer and want to slim back down....damage control for the upcoming holidays I suppose!
This was one of the outfits that I just love and then feel really awkward about at the office. Its a bit more mainstream trendy than I usually go for but I LOVE this dress. Its so comfy and the pockets and architecture are just brilliant. The only drawback is its length, its too short for me. I could never wear it to the office without leggings or opaque tights. Even on the weekends its just not me to wear something super short. I felt very trendy though! I would definitely wear it again and can't wait to dress it up in fall with boots and tights.
What do you think...office appropriate?
