Stealing From the Rich

Dress - Kupcake via Ross
Belt - Target
Boots - Charlotte Russe

I broke out the boots folks! Its still quite warm but I just couldn't handle it anymore they had to come out...for real they have been begging for weeks now. My tights were pissed when I told them it wasn't time for them yet. I don't know why I rush the seasons? When the summer comes I am always stoked to wear my dresses and take off all the outerwear, in fact there are still quite a few combos that are unrequited but still I want the cooler weather? Guess the grass is always greener...meh.

I had Boba tea today....I don't really know what to think about that stuff. Actually I know exactly what I think about it....GROSS! My husband is in love?? I don't really understand it which makes me want to like it but why its just odd. I wonder if he really likes it or just says that cause its interesting? I mean I will give it that its interesting. Although this is the same man that upon walking out of the bedroom in the above outfit he exclaimed "Holy Robin Hood all you need is a quiver"! Guess it was good I decided against the tights eh?

The Post Without a Sign

Shoes - Carlos Santana
Capri Slacks - Target
Blouse - Charlotte Russe
Sunglasses - Target
Earrings - can't remember

I think its finally starting to cool off! Better break out the dresses while I can. This was my Friday outfit to the office but didn't have any time to post until today. Last night my wonderful husband took me to dinner at our favorite little spot Coup de Tartes it was SO yummy. We started off with the cheese platter that had the most wonderful creamy brie and then I had the fillet Mignon with a pesto butter and pomme frittes (fancy word for french fires) and a tomato stuffed with mushrooms and Parmesan it was utterly scrumptious especially since I have been eating so clean this week it was a real treat. He was so amazing all week not telling me where we were going and then when we arrived I reminded him that this place was a BYOB and we hadn't brought any wine. He had a showed up earlier that day and dropped off wine and beautiful Lillie's so they would be there when we arrived.....I LOVE HIM! It was a perfect evening and I it also gave me the perfect opportunity to try out my newly learned smokey eye. It looked great...I always feel like it is soo much makeup but in a setting like that it works.

My sister was down and we spent the first part of the day having lunch and going around to a few boutiques..one of which had a cupcake and champagne event and everything was on major sale. Considering nothing in the store is over $39 anyway I was forced to stock up!

Either way still perfecting that smokey eye and would love to see your take!

Target Outlaw

Slacks - Target
Sweater - New York & Co.
Tank - Old Navy
Purse - Target
Shoes - Steve Madden (thrifted)
Bracelet - Flea Market
Necklace - Street Vendor downtown

So......Today I stopped on my home to get my husband a anniversary card and the soundtrack to Crazy Heart (great CD by the way). I decided on Target because it would be a one stop shot and its on my home...BAD IDEA. I parked my car turned of the music and had a heart to heart with myself and my credit card....NO SHOPPING. You have no money I warned and you have mega bills this month and you have PLENTY. After a little debating and convincing we agreed that it was for the best. Deep breaths, feeling strong and were walking. Hello Mr. Target greeter, hello Target return girl that probably knows me by name...and were walking. Eyeing the clothes but were walking. CD check, card check.....maybe I can just see if they have a eyeshadow brush? Then it happened....standing in line thinking I should have grabbed a hand cart!!!!! I should be outlawed! Did you know that when you are a hardcore gambler you can go into the casino and tell them to never let you in....sign a few papers take a few photos and wham they will seriously arrest you if you show up. I need a program like that....serious...stat. Although I would probably just dress up in disguise. I am a terrible person and I need help......probably need help paying my car insurance this month that's for sure.

Anyone tried matte nail polish (had this in my hand today but was able to talk myself out of it). The Sisters had this amazing post about it but I would like some more feedback? I love the OPI copper business in the first shot.

Was it something I ate?

Tuxedo Capri Pants - Target
Blouse - Target
Cardigan - thrifted

Well I have been eating extremely healthy for two days now and I feel back to my old self....I am always amazed by how much food changes my perception on life. Haven't been back to the gym since last Tuesday but plan to hit it up this Saturday for sure!

Tomorrow is my 4 year wedding anniversary!! I seriously can't believe that I have been married for that long. I was always the girl that was NEVER EVER even if my life depended on it and there was someone with a gun to my head going to ever say to death do us part. Now I am happily married to a man with two children of his own...who knew? I figure since I NEVER EVER even if my life depended on it and there was someone with a gun to my head want children that its best to have someone else pop them out for you. I don't recommend saying that to the "baby mama" though...they don't find it as amusing as you and I. So back to the 4 years...holy huh? My husband has been hogging the computer all night "making plans", he won't tell me what he is doing and apparently the restaurant won't accommodate his request?? I tried to tell him that restaurants don't let strippers in.....or rather he told me.

What could he be planning? I have to wait till Saturday to find out??????

Its in the Bag

Ring - Target
Purse - Emilie B
Fabric - Old Navy (from shirt yesterday)

Not so much a what I wore post although I did wear the accessories yesterday. That my sister and I at the top during a LONG night as you can see.

So the dilemma of the day is bangs or no bangs??? Need help here! I think I want them.....going to my guy on Saturday we will see what he says? My husband is no help he just tells me that he thinks whatever I do will look good...what does he know? Bangs can be a nightmare done wrong but I need something new. I got a hair up my ass yesterday about it and had pretty much decided I was going home and doing it right away!! Luckily for my strands I started doing some google searches and was firmly scolded by that notion and told to never EVER again think about doing something so self destructive....so I called my guy.

Not so Mellow Yellow

Cardigan - Target
Top - Old Navy
Slacks - Target
Shoes - Target

That's right I am pretty much all Target today! Now that I see the pics up I feel like my shoes give it the "too matchy" look. I think the hardest thing about dressing is finding a balance of style and "work appropriate" I have so much more fun with my weekend or casual outfits. Finding something that is work ready is truly the hardest for me. Sometimes it comes of as too crisp of color coded. Not soft enough. I think a simple pair of black pumps would have pulled this outfit together better? I just couldn't resist putting these yellow heels on. They are always overlooked and I heard that if I didn't wear them soon they were going to find a different closet. They are also one of my husbands favorites...mostly because he likes anything yellow.

I am having an issue with liking the outfit in the mirror but not so much in the pics? Not to mention I am having a serious issue finding an easily accessible location...aka somewhere at my house. Its not realistic for me to go somewhere everyday even if I do everything possible its just doesn't work. I have a pretty yard but feel to damn silly out there with all my neighbors watching! In fact we were doing it anyways (the pictures,,,jeez get your head out of the gutter) the other day and the neighbor pulled into the driveway!! I immediately was like "quick let me take a pic of you so I don't feel like a idiot" ha ha. She even got out and offered to take a pic of us....too funny! I blurted out "oh no thanks we are just checking out the camera" I am such a liar! I was surprised by my quickness to lie about it also...those words just sort of fell out of my mouth without even thinking about it!

Anyone ever tried ShoeDazzle??? Thoughts?
